We had a vivaciously superlative week full of miracles! Last Thursday we had three new investigators. We first contacted a referral from Southport. His name is Ethan and when we knocked by he had a few moments for us. He was really into the lessen and wants to read the Book of Mormon. He is a very busy student though so it's hard to see him frequently but he has a good hard and I'm sure that he'll progress.
Right after Ethan, when we were walking back to the flat for lunch, there were two, fifteen years old, chavs standing at a house and yelled to us that God doesn’t exists on which we asked them how they knew and we bore our testimony on how we came to know that God actually does exists. We then asked them, Nathan and Josh, if we could come in to share how they could know it for themselves and asked if their parent would be okay with that. They responded that they were living in a care house and that it was okay for us to come in. We taught them how Christs church came to be and about the Book of Mormon and they both wanted to be baptised on the 10th of march. One of them even said a prayer which was the first prayer that person ever uttered.
Yesterday evening we met another boy on the street, he said he believes in science but was willing to hear us out. We taught him the message of the restoration and gave him a Book of Mormon which he is willing to read and pay about.
I also saw a great miracle on an exchange in Southport with Elder Delaibatiki. There we met a woman in a wheelchair who has a strong believe. When we asked her what brought her the most happiness in her life she responded: "The Bible." She told us how the scriptures brought her comfort in her life and that she reads from the bible every evening. We taught her about the restoration of the church and about the Book of Mormon which she really wants to read, if she has a bigger copy. She wants to be baptised and to come to church with us. She already said that she would take another wheelchair with her which is lighter so that it would be easier to get her to church!
I loooove my mission!
Groetjes!
